My Messages:
Messaging within the MBA community provides a powerful means of networking.
Once you join the MBAconnect™ community, you will have your own personal messaging
system where you can interact with other registered users. Similar to email, you
can receive and send messages, and you can also view the profile of those you
interact with.
At your external/forwarding email address, you will also receive an alert no more than
once a day, to summarise all the activities in Your Zone, such as:
- notification about new messages you’ve received;
- the number of new job opportunities matching your search criteria; and
- the number of new friend requests you’ve received about joining other users’ networks; and
- the number of upcoming social events to which you’ve been invited.

You will be invited to log into MBAconnect™ to review these in more detail. To ensure
you receive these summary alerts, you should ensure your forwarding (external) email
address is up-to-date.
My Profile:
Once you join the MBAconnect™ community, you will be able to load your own personal
profile, which contains information about your education and qualifications, your
personal details and your contact details.
Your profile is your personal space to market yourself. The more information you put in
your profile about yourself, the more likely you are to connect with other registered
users and to market your brand. Uploading a picture helps others form a visual connection
with you, as they can put a face to your name, so we encourage you to upload a recent
picture of yourself.

My Network:
Your network contains the profiles of all the people you have networked with on the site,
and want to keep in contact with. You can network with other users in the community
and grow your network in a number of ways, e.g. by sending and receiving messages, searching for people
in the Member Directory, referring your friends to the site,
and commenting with other users on a blog board.
