Social events within the MBA community provide a powerful means of networking, as well as opportunities to stay in touch with those outside of our own industries. They also help to keep us current, and to leverage other MBAs who are starting their own businesses.

Using this feature, you can view what social events are happening within the MBA community and their details (when and where, who is coming, etc.). Once you join the MBAconnect™ community, you will also be able to create your own social events on the website. When you create your own event, you can invite everyone on the database or only selected users, whichever you choose.

As a member of the MBA community, you will also be able to search for events in a certain month or year and/or of a certain type e.g. talks, drinks, get-togethers, etc. At your external email address, you will also be able to receive alerts about upcoming social events to which you are invited. So it is important to keep the external email address that you’ve entered on the site up-to-date.

We have catered for a number of different types of social events – so if the type you want to create isn’t available, please contact us so that we can set it up for you.

My Events:
Here you can view social events you have created, edit and cancel them. You can also track who and how many people are attending, who and how many people are not, and who and how many people haven't responded. You can also send an event-reminder to those people who are attending and/or those who haven't responded.
